Some of the latest cell phones on the market today now offer take such high quality digital pictures that you can actually use them as a true camera, at least for personal and amateur pictures. This popular option is now being made available in almost all cell phones introduced today as cell phone camera and some of them even offer the ability to record movies.

It is no surprise that the use of cellular phones has spread like wildfire. In an increasingly mobile world the cell phone provides a much needed convenience for many people.

The popularity of camera cell phones amazes some, but not me. The cell phones being brought to market today are capable of doing many tasks such as email, internet access, and appointment keeping but one of the things that is driving the market is the ability of a cell phone to operate as a digital camera and it is certain that these phones will only get better in quality and become even more popular in the months and years to come.

Of course like most of the new communications technology, camera phones were first introduced in Japan, who leads the market in communications technology. These camera cell phones found widespread acceptance in the Asian market but it was more than two years before they found their way to the United States. Some people may believe that owning a camera phone is no more advantageous than owning two separate devices but the fact is that owning a camera phone with a high quality camera built in is a much more user friendly device that will be used much more than a stand alone camera.

Unlike other cell phone camera, the iPhone camera actually takes decent photos that are perfect for any webpage or desktop background.

1.  Take great pictures.

If you have tried to take photos with your iPhone, than you may have noticed the picture was blurry.  When you press the picture button of the iPhone, nothing happens, however, it is when you release the picture button that the iPhone actually takes the photo.  To get a decent photo with your iPhone you should press the picture button first and this will allow you to get a steady picture.  Also, taking pictures with the camera sideways gives you a full screen picture versus the normal straight up and down picture.

2.  Using your photos as contacts.

You can use your iPhone camera to add photo of someone who is on your contact list.  I you use this feature a lot times when I’ve taken great pictures of my friends and family.  When someone calls the photo of their picture will appear.

3.  You can email images.

Just hit the forward button in the left corner of the screen and select email photo.

4.  Use images as wallpaper.

The pictures can be used as wallpaper for your iPhone.

5.  Downloading images to your computer.

Click the Import pictures download the picture to the folder that you want and that’s it.  Also, these pictures can be used as a desktop background.
