How to Repair a Water Damaged Cell Phone

1. When your cell-phone gets water-logged, the first thing to do is to remove the battery immediately. ( This action prevents the circuit board from getting damaged as water is a good conductor of electricity. It spreads on the board and damages small components with the help of voltage coming from the battery). Don’t just switch-off the phone, as it will do no good if the battery is not removed.
2. Next step is to open the mobile phone with the help of a screw driver, and to dry the green-colored circuit board and other components completely with a hair drier or in open sunlight.
3. Now clean the circuit board using alcohol or spirit with a brush. This will prevent any corrosion of the circuit board in the future.
