The LG Viewty is the successor to the LG Prada range and was introduced world wide flaunting add on features such as a large touch screen, digital camera and multimedia player.
The LG Viewty is compact, within a sleek black box that also includes a compatible headphone, charger, CD-ROM and USB cable. The LG Viewty has neat curves, elegant black silver-colored accents that make it an essential frill to accentuate and function as a style statement. In fact, when you place the LG Viewty horizontally, it looks exactly like a digital compact camera from the back. It is actually quite difficult to recognize the mobile phone within. The camera lens has a special scroll wheel around it, which is an innovation of LG, to eliminate the need for extra buttons.
The LG Viewty is equipped with a 262,144 color touch screen monitor that offers great color reproduction, in bright sunlight as well as in the shade. Touching the ‘touch’ screen monitor with enough pressure to activate the functions is confirmed by a slight vibration. There is also a dedicated pen that can be used on the touch screen monitor and it can be attached to the handset via a cord. The line of dedicated LG products like the various previously launched cell phones and electronics is being taken really seriously with the low profile, but extremely high end entry of the LG Viewty mobile phone.
